Dearest Najarian Family - My deepest and most sincere apologies for not posting sooner! It has been a whirlwind of a December and I didn't get a single reminder from anyone about posting (!?!) so it unfortunately slipped my mind. BUT the good thing is I have the similar interests I've had for the last few postings and will always want the same stuff because I am boring!

Also I recently signed my name in blood to a very big design firm and will be working there starting in February! This is exciting and also scary for me because I have lived in sweatpants for the last 3 years and will need to pretend I'm a real adult. Some cool architecture/design books would be great, or anything you think a new corporate person might need.

As many of you know I’m in the process of converting to Judaism, and because of that I was intending on boycotting Christmas and presents this year. After receiving many frantic texts from father I’ve decided that I’ll comply for one last year.

Tea Kettle: I’m open to lots of styles but just make it classy. I hate chords and I hate electronics so I’m talking about stovetop tea kettles that go wooooooooo

Pepper Grinder: I’m not proud of this, but up until now I’ve only used pre-ground pepper when I cook. I’m not proud of it okay!!!

I now live in a state with too much sun for its own good. After almost 2 years I have realized sunglasses would be useful. Nothing expensive because i will surely lose them in a week. I like all black and mixed material stuff on the smaller side. Like these except the opposite


The other thing that would help me become a true beach bum is some slip ons. Patterns and colors are ok here! Here is an example of some wild ones but any slip ons would be great

My cargo and I are very excited to see everyone, and to eat my way through all the goodness that Chicago has to offer.  I've verified with my OBGYN that a Loretta a day will be okay for a short period of time.  In addition to Sarki's I'm going to try and gain all my baby weight in this one trip.  :-)
As far as gifts they mostly relate to my expanding figure with a few fun items thrown in.

My face is a minefield of problems in my state, so I need to cover it with makeup I do not currently own.  Since I have sensitive skin I can only use a few carefully tested brands.  Pacifica is one of them and my personal fav.  I really need the basics like the  Coconut Milk Cream to Foam Face Wash, Neutralizing Matifier Shade 1, Ultra CC Cream warm/light, and Blushious Coconut & Rose Cheek Color wild rose.

Any cool cute things you find at cool cute Chicago shops. 

I always love love love vinyl, more Dolly Parton, you can never have too much, any quintessential late 90's indie rock (have neutral milk), Billy Bragg and Wilco, Wilco (have yankee hotel), etc.  Anything fun to dance to when I'm home alone, you guys are 100/100 on your vinyl selections so far so trust your instincts.  45's or 33's
