Happy Christmas, everyone! I hope you're all staying healthy, and hope next year we can all be together. 

Now, the good stuff..

I have a dog. You know of him. And you love of him. He likes Whimzees, durable toys, and long walks on the beach. 

Another thing I feel passion for is a loud 1966 Ford Mustang. It runs right now, so no need to buy me a replacement carburetor or intake manifold, but books are fun.

Lastly, McDonald's gift cards. This is not a drill. I go there many times a year and yet never tire of it.

Finally, this may sound silly, but we don't own a soup ladle. It's a shame because normal spoons take too long to serve soup with, and serving soup by pouring it can be a dangerous affair.

I've only been reading non-fiction for the past half decade and I can't seem to get myself out of that funk. I would love to read something more imaginative and engrossing, but I don't know where to start. A thrifted version of your favorite novel would be so sweet!

Some of my plants are still in their plastic pots that I bought them in. I know, James and Laura, it's a travesty. Please. Help.

MISO'S FIRST CHRISTMAS

Dearest sisses, we love you all and are so sad that we won't be together this Christmas 😭 but very excited for this freaking year to end already. As ya'll know, we bought a house in Wilmette! We can't ask for much more...it's so dreamy here and little Miso is the happiest pup. A few things we would super love if you MUST buy us presents:

- We're renovating the kitchen and bathrooms, so any fun interior design books or mags would be awesome for inspo. Gift cards for Wayfair, AllModern, or ContainerStore would be super appreciated and put to good use very, very soon. 

- Also will be getting lots of prints and pics framed...a gift card to Framebridge would be wonderful.

- We take Miso for walks, lots and lots and lots of walks. It has come to my attention we could use some travel mugs to take beverages with us on these walks. Dave tends to take them and then they disappear, so I need my own stash...Swell and Yeti both have nice ones.

Some cozy and functional things are on my list this year. 

This place has some cool stuff I like, like these specific things: 

United By Blue size women's medium in the pink check color. 

The men's version sz small coffee color is good too.

 Also their hemp socks are very nice. Nice thin style hemp or wool socks would be great from any company such as these Thin Warm socks. 

This hat is pretty cool too. 

Anything from this place Gecko Hawaii, the beach pants (small) haunt my dreams.

One thing I actually need is these wireless headphones, my old ones just pooped out.

Other than that, I love beeswax candles, cool vinyl records, and gin (Hendricks, Roku).

The Bag

Overall I think it's important to remember that I like cool things, and I don't like not cool things. I hate plastic more than anything in this world. Plastic is the devil. Quality is all that matters. 

Running Stuff

Always love running shorts. 5in or shorter inseam - anything longer are pants!! I prefer liners if there's an option, and usually I'm a medium. Pictured above are Ten Thousand's, but other cool running companies are Tracksmith, Janji and Path Projects. I think we can all agree that black is kind of a lame color....colors are a good time!

Kitchen Stuff 

Your girl spends a lot of time in the kitchen. I feel like I could really crush it in a cute lil apron number. Linen is cool, colors are fun, open to basically any style - as long as it doesn't have logos. Logos and labels are gross. Etsy has cute options! I really love all kitchen things - knives are sharp. My vegetable peeler is also crap. 

House Stuff 

I'm in my apartment all day everyday, so I like it to look pretty! Always on the hunt for cool plant pots (with drainage holes), plants themselves, cool prints and art. Also desperately in need of a new bath mat (dark colors to hide poop stains). Candles always, because duh.

Christmas is a time to think of other.....of others....of others.....

Ho Ho Ho my loved ones!! We blinked and December is upon us yet again. Yes, the holidays may be distanced this year, but if you hadn't heard from Dr. Fauci - Santa and his elves have a natural COVID immunity and he's still making his rounds!!! The Najarian Family Christmas Blog merrily lives on!!
