Rather than a list of items which I am coveting, I thought this year I'd provide some categories of interest to get your gift-giving juices flowing 

COOKING/GRILLING/SOURDOUGH - we're fortunate enough to have a new grill and sizable backyard, and are actualizing our dreams of becoming "dinner party gays". Laura has set the tone with our gorgeous blates (bowl plates). If we're being technical, I don't have a bread
knife 

BOOKS/RECORDS - i built us a library/listening station (pictured left), and it's always looking for new friends to add to the collection 

APARTMENT - we've got a lot of white wall space still. we looking for color pops, eclectic art, antique-vintagey-estate sale kind of things. Not the most practical gift, but we do need lamps. Lots of lamps. 

GARDENING - we've got gardening pros in the family, and Colin and I have a lot to learn 

BROADWAY - Barbra Streisand and Stephen Sondheim are my real parents 

FILM - both in terms of cinema and film cameras
