Dave: "Last but not Least"

Merry almost Christmas Family peoples :)  I feel like James has been frustrated to the point of giving up on me ever posting a blog so it is time for me to post!  Last night was a fabulous dinner under (kindof) the tree at MarshalmacyFields with our beautiful Mother and world famous banned in South Korea travel icon. Today unfortunately I leave you all to travel far to the most stoned state in the country to celebrate the last chocolate of the advent calendar with farm animals and baby boomers who came out big in the dot com boom and retired early to make candles from soy and birdwatch in Boulder Colorado.  Also we are visiting my new IN-LAWS because I am MARRIED NOW!  Big congratulations to Laura Southard for giving up and settling for what was around at the time!  Now we get to keep her and will have many apple cran pies!

yes... I have elected to audition second families for my holidays BUT THAT DOES NOT MEAN I WILL BE BUYING ONE.  It only means I am looking around and seeing whats out there.  Please find all six of Dad's meat thermometers for him if he is going to prepare a roast or ham of any sort and don't let Mom sit down during dinner... just keep passing passing passing until everyone PASSES OUT.  Would you like a beverage?!

I have already received the only gift I wanted from Andrew who drew (pun intended) my name in this years controversial lottery of love which drastically changed the gifting landscape for the Najarian's and affiliated peoples.  Pictured below is the beautiful Backgammon Board and wonderful vintage checkers that were sourced by our beloved brother Andrew.  The board is seen here gracefully contrasted against a rug that I stole from the Minasian's store and the combination really screams Armenian Person.  There is talk of making it the center piece of the sitting room and we are hosting daily games.  Dudek has learned to play as well (once).

My New Favorite Thing To Do!
I am not sure if everyone is aware but Maggie and I set up the tree together this year and it is pretty amazing.  Dad made sure to scream at us from a safe distance and it only took a couple hours and a mile or so of twine.  Please take time to investigate this years star which I feel is one of the best yet as it also incorporates stolen andddd manipulated oriental rugs from Minasian which have been expertly crafted into a glorious wool treetopper by our Armenian prince and Father.  No two Najarian stars are alike and this one is sure to get some attention.

I would like to take some time now to highlight some things I will be missing terribly as I travel to the hills to spend this holiday with Horses and Chickens rather than my birthfamily.

  1.  Tony and David's Christmas treats.  In the past we have had amazing coffee cake and I believe there is also a new treat of some sort in the works for this year.
  2. The Christmas Roast.  I joke about the meat thermometers but it is truly a succulent highlight which I would appreciate photos of as it is prepared and served.
  3. Showing up late and making everyone wait for me to open presents while baby A loses his mind.  One of the only times of the year I can garner that much anticipation for my appearance is this moment... and I will undoubtedly feel a void  without it.
  4. the possibility of rodents in our tree and home.  Always an exciting moment.
  5. eating dinner at 3pm and then again at 7pm.
I am sure there are more things not revolving around eating and squirrels I will miss but that pretty much covers all the big ticket items.

I love you all, MERRY CHRISTMASSSSSSS

if you read all that hoping to find a last minute gift idea for me and are now wondering why you wasted your time your aggravation is the only present I really ever wanted xoxoxoxoxoxox
